The parent company of J&K Signature Styles, a woman’s professional clothing retail chain, is seeking a DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST & ECOMMERCE ADMINISTRATOR

A. JOB FUNCTION

The primary functions of the Digital Marketing Specialist are to execute online/digital marketing strategies, serve as ecommerce administrator and respond to customers across social media and online platforms.

B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Execute online/ digital marketing strategies.
  2. Respond to and assist with customer queries via company websites, social media and emails.
  3. Manage and maintain the loyalty programme.
  4. Set up and schedule posts for all social media platforms to support online and in-store locations according to the marketing deliverables.
  5. Set up and schedule Facebook ads and Google Ads to support online and in-store locations.
  6. Set up and schedule emails using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs such as Active Campaign to support online and in-store locations, ensuring all email lists are updated based on established schedules.
  7. Set up, test and schedule website promotions, coupons and special offers.
  8. Update and maintain website, Facebook and other multimedia platforms including content/copy, product information, banners, landing pages, company information etc.  
  9. Schedule and maintain the Content Calendar to reflect all digital marketing deliverables.
  10. Utilize Google Analytics to understand and develop sources of traffic and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  11. In collaboration with technical support manage website configuration & parameters (e.g. payment options, stock management).
  12. Liaise with technical support to investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising.
  13. Monitor fulfilment of website purchases by the warehouse ensuring deliveries are being completed within established standards.
  14. Manage returns and exchanges and customer issues for online purchases.
  15. Produce reports that present and evaluate the performance of online/digital marketing initiatives and the strategies to improve traffic, website sales conversions & customer engagement.
  16. Ensure we maintain our unique brand voice by monitoring the digital marketing of competitors and leading fashion brands.
  17. Keep abreast of the latest trends in ustomer Engagement and Social media marketing.

Provide general assistance to the Marketing Manager and other team members as may be required by the function, in a professional and efficient manner.

C. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BA Marketing, Communications, Ecommerce or any related degree.
  • Two (2) years’ experience managing websites or ecommerce Content Management Systems (CMS) or in a similar position.
  • At least one (1) year experience engaging audiences through effective management of social media channels for an established well-known brand.
  • Experience with Woo commerce will be an asset.
  • Experience with Active Campaign will be an asset

D. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Detail oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files).
  • Basic understanding of Google platforms such as Google Ads, Webmaster Tools & Analytics will be an asset.
  • Familiar with data management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, inclusive of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and HTML/CSS will be an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivery of world class internal/external customer service.
  • Basic graphic design skills with ability to enhance and support creative strategies

A. JOB FUNCTION

The Marketing Assistant – Content Creation is a highly motivated and results driven marketing team member who supports the Marketing Manager in the creation of Graphic Design content across various platforms and media.

B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plan and design artwork work for in-store, website, email, social media, digital screens and all other advertising platforms.
  2. Provide graphic design support for product development including fabric print and packaging.
  3. Write social media copy, creative briefs, radio advertising scripts, public relations releases and print ad copy.
  4. Ensure we maintain our unique brand voice by monitoring the graphic design aesthetic of competitors and leading fashion brands.
  5. Work collaboratively with the marketing team members to create storyboards that portray the inspiration for graphic design recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser on photoshoot preparation to determine the theme, aesthetics, format, size etc. needed for the pictures to support the planned graphic design output.
  7. Provide graphic design support for internal deliverables of the company department heads.
  8. Provide general assistance to the Marketing Manager and other team members as may be required by the function, in a professional and efficient manner.
  9. Remain knowledgeable about emerging standards and trends.
  10. Maintain proper library of company advertising and all graphic design output.
  11. Execute any other related duties as may be assigned by the Marketing Manager.

C. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia/Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in content creation and/or related communications field.
  • High level of proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator required.
  • Experience with content management systems

D. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Highly creative individual with vision and strong visual storytelling ability
  • A good understanding of fashion trends and fashion branding.
  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Outstanding creative writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively with others, to share ideas and participate in team meetings
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A. JOB FUNCTION

The Visual Merchandiser is a goal-oriented, highly organized and creative marketing professional that supports the Marketing Department by coordinating and executing in-store promotions, photoshoots, visual merchandising (VM) and marketing projects.

B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serve as the leader for all visual merchandising (VM) planning and execution to ensure business objectives and VM standards are always met in all stores.
  2. Create on-brand visual deliverables that showcase new collection and product releases across all brands including Style Directories, Fashion Centers and Corporate sales catalogues.
  3. Develop and execute show window and in-store displays to support promotions and branding themes.
  4. Develop VM guidelines to support in-store promotions.
  5. Prepare and present VM plans in marketing presentations for company executives and department leaders.
  6. Implement promotional campaigns in-store coordinating with the internal staff and external suppliers to ensure a seamless execution.
  7. Liaise with internal and external parties in order to produce creative material for marketing initiatives.
  8. Ensure we maintain our unique brand voice by monitoring the visual merchandising output of competitors and leading fashion brands.
  9. Work with the Buyer on collection development and product release schedules and coordinate new collection releases with the internal staff to ensure a seamless release.
  10. Plan, coordinate and execute photoshoots.
  11. Research, create and present mood board and storyboards for photoshoots and VM projects.
  12. Assist in the coordination of promotional events, launches, brand activations, sponsorships, brand partnerships and other marketing related events, leveraging them to the best advantage of the company.
  13. Execute marketing special projects.
  14. Prepare project and promotion post-mortem reports in support of departmental reporting requirements.
  15. Provide general assistance to the Marketing Manager and other team members as may be required by the function, in a professional and efficient manner.
  16. Maintain proper files of projects and maintain and catalogue promotional material.

C. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising or other related degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least one (1) year experience in executing visual merchandising projects for a retail apparel brand.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator required.
  • Driver’s license required.

D. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and strategies
  • A good understanding of fashion trends/fashion brands.
  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented and well-organised with a strong ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Ability to react and adapt to last minute changes while still meeting deadlines and maintaining quality of work.
  • Ability to use technology to remotely communicate and direct all aspects of presentation in stores.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Able to work outside of normal work hours including nights and weekends to execute projects.
  • Able to lift objects up to 30lbs.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
